Wpf listbox observablecollection not updating local dating chat line
which needs to have an updatedsourcetrigger=propertychanged to fix it.
If it does nothing, then let me know what your definition of "source" is.
Everything works except for the fact that, if i'm updating the item description the List Box entry isn't updating.
I read some articles about this, so i think it has something to do with Collection Changed isn't called. You does not use any datatemplate for listbox item, so WPF calls the To String() method for show item without DT.
== EDIT == I've found the problem which lies in the singleton with how the collection is initialized.
Instead of using the internal copy member when initializing the collection, I needed to use the exposed property to allow it to update the UI. Trying to bind to a Collection View Source leads me back to the not updating problems.
However, when dealing with a list of objects, usually we would like a view that allows us to see several items in the list at the same time, and allows us to scroll through this display and select which item we want to deal with.
I am having trouble getting a List Box binding to work as expected.
One of my first hunches is that you are bound to the uninitialized parts member.
You should consider implementing INotify Property Changed on your Car class and exposing parts as a Property.
Each category is represented by a unique integer code (so ‘physics’ has the code 2 in the picture).
It is this numerical code that is stored in each Book object, so the textual representation of a given category is contained in a separate class called Book Category.
